Areas we cover

The main ALDA office is located in Newbury, Berkshire. Of course, a lot of our clients are situated in the many surrounding villages – Woolton Hill, Wash Common, Burghclere and Highclere, Hermitage, Beenham and Bucklebury… to name just a few! Many of our projects are located in the areas between Reading and Newbury, such as Theale, Earley, Thatcham, Pangbourne, Binfield, Twyford and Ruscombe. Some Of Our Garden Transformations

A Large Traditional Courtyard

This was part of a 2 acre garden surrounding a very large 16th Century brick cottage. A winding drive leads from the main entrance gates, through a large expanse of lawn, to a parking area to the side of (and at a lower level than) the house and project area. The project entailed converting a large undulating area of lawn to the front of the house, and the surrounding shrubberies on varying levels, into a traditional and fairly formal courtyard garden, with lots of interconnecting paths and pockets of interest.

Ultra Contemporary Family Garden

Simplicity works, but it isn’t always easy to achieve – in this ultra-contemporary family garden, every little detail was important, from the the lines of symmetry in the structure, to the location of the parasol, and the routing of the gas pipe for fire pit! Get everything right and the result is stunning.
