Some of our Transformations

A picture is worth a thousand words, so they say… We’ve selected gardens of varying sizes and styles, to give you an idea of the breadth of what we do. A Flowing Family Garden

From a blank canvas, we’ve created a stylish, flowing garden with connected functional spaces and beautiful planting adding texture and seasonal colour.

Beautiful Simplicity

This simple but beautiful design opens up a large family garden and creates a wonderful multi-use patio using quality materials and vibrant planting adding texture and colour.

More

Flowing Circles

This garden uses strong geometric circles to link different spaces together and generate movement through the garden. A central circular lawn with curved paths are the focal feature of the whole design and bring each area of the garden together.

Contemporary Elegance

A new open plan kitchen-dining room gets a garden to complement it! This was an informal, relatively low maintenance space that sits well with the contemporary house extension – a patio laid flush with bi-fold doors gives a smooth transition from house to garden.

More

A Large Traditional Courtyard

This was part of a 2 acre garden surrounding a very large 16th Century brick cottage. A winding drive leads from the main entrance gates, through a large expanse of lawn, to a parking area to the side of (and at a lower level than) the house and project area. The project entailed converting a large undulating area of lawn to the front of the house, and the surrounding shrubberies on varying levels, into a traditional and fairly formal courtyard garden, with lots of interconnecting paths and pockets of interest.

Ultra Contemporary Family Garden

Simplicity works, but it isn’t always easy to achieve – in this ultra-contemporary family garden, every little detail was important, from the the lines of symmetry in the structure, to the location of the parasol, and the routing of the gas pipe for fire pit! Get everything right and the result is stunning.

An Eclectic Garden

A modern yet timeless design in a tired mature plot. Incorporating a sunken contemporary outdoor room and a chic raised patio and terraces, the key here was simplicity, attention to detail and a bit of contrast.

More

L-Shaped Family Garden

We were asked to create a relatively low maintenance garden that was child and bird friendly, a quiet and private oasis. A back door to the kitchen had recently been installed in the quiet area to the side of the house, so we designed a small, cosy and very private patio which is also quite a suntrap. Our clients love it and spend the vast majority of their time outside here.

Contemporary Child-Friendly Garden

A contemporary design with white rendered raised beds, this garden was created to fit well with our clients’ modern but relatively traditional house and provide a pleasant space to sit and eat with friends and family.

Flowing Levels in a Large Garden

This was a large garden in Maidenhead, sloping up hill to a copse. We decommissioned a swimming pool, replacing it with a simple semi formal lawn and borders. A single pergola running inside the boundary adds privacy and widens into an arboured sitting area.

A Garden in Bray with an Unusual Twist

This was an interesting garden to design, as the front door to the house is halfway into the garden. A long slate pathway leads to an entrance courtyard centred on the front door and with a glorious view of Bray church beyond.

More

Contemporary with Moorish Influence

This was a new build home; the garden was empty excepting a lone shed. A big drop in level at the bottom of the garden gave way to lovely views out over the fields below. The brief was for a clean, contemporary garden.

Shinfield: Contemporary & Colourful

This was a new build home in a built-up area. The brief was for the design & construction of a strong framework – clean, but with lots of interest – to which the client could add their own planting.

Thank you so much for transforming our garden – it looks tremendous and now really enhances the house. Really pleased – thank all the team from us.
